Interfoam speak to local school about future career opportunities.
At Interfoam, we believe it is highly important to engage with our local community, through businesses, the community, or local schools. In October 2023, two colleagues from Interfoam went to our local Bedford Road Primary School to tell them all about Interfoam, the work we do, and the different job roles that we have within the company. The students, aged from 9-11, had many questions about our industry and the job roles on offer which we were happy to answer and provide as much information to them as possible.
We furthered this experience by inviting 15 students, along with two teachers, to our manufacturing site in Kempston, Bedfordshire. This visit contained a delicious lunch for all visitors, a tour of our manufacturing facility and offices, a demonstration of our moulding process, and some gifts for the students to go home with!
We hope this visit has enlightened the students of the many possibilities they have for their future, whilst also educating, motivating, and exciting them about the prospects of their future careers and development.
